Course design project for UN-Habitat

Henrik Bregnhøj has signed a contract for the services of an individual contractor for UN-Habitat. He shall from now and till the end of June 2022 design a course on Urban Ecosystem-based Adaptation in three versions: for classroom teaching, a blended version and a fully online version.

UN-Habitat works to build inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable cities and communities. They put a particular focus on peri-urban areas, that has all kinds of challenges in becoming resilient living areas.

The Ecosystem-based Adaptation includes various Nature-based Systems, like fruit tree-planting, green roofs and parks with natural storm water run-off. It is yet another tool in the toolbox to both improve living conditions and reduce climate change impacts and strengthen biodiversity.

And of course the online version of the course will be openly accessible to the public. This project has all the right aspects!

Supplier for Danish development assistance

Good Deed Consulting has been approved for Danida Fellowship Centre's supplier list regarding capacity development.

It means that Good Deed Consulting are allowed to give tenders for the next 5 years, 2022-2026, when DFC offers projects to design and hold courses for people, especially from the Global South, who work with Danish development assistance. See the 2022 DFC courses.

Hopefully it will open to exciting collaboration with some of the large and medium-sized Danish consulting companies, who are on the same supplier list, to provide training that will improve conditions in the poorest parts of the world.
